Critter Buddy requires access to webpages in order to provide its primary functionality: displaying and operating an interactive virtual companion while you browse.
Website access is used for features such as companion movement, animations, interactions, menus, games, and video-aware behavior.
Critter Buddy does not use this access to create a browsing history, profile your browsing activity, or transmit webpage contents to NovaFang Labs.
Critter Buddy may respond to user interactions on a webpage when necessary for its companion and interface features.
Critter Buddy does not transmit or maintain a history of your general clicks, scrolling, keystrokes, or browsing activity for analytics, tracking, or advertising.
Critter Buddy does not download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. The code required to operate the extension is included within the extension package.
Critter Buddy may contain optional links to third-party websites, such as Ko-fi, where users can choose to support development.
If you visit a third-party website, information you provide to that website is governed by that website's own privacy policy. Critter Buddy does not receive payment information submitted to those services.
NovaFang Labs does not sell Critter Buddy user data.
